The Journal of Caring Sciences (JCS) is a quarterly peer-reviewed and open access journal published by Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz, Iran. It provides a forum for original research on Healthcare, Clinical Practice, Innovative Strategies on Healthcare, and research methods related to Nursing, Midwifery, and other healthcare professions.

The journal mainly welcomes studies aiming to advance knowledge and understanding of all aspects of care by using the most rigorous designs and methods in health-related professions. It also seeks to advance the quality of both quantitative and qualitative research methods by publishing methodological papers introducing new research methods, measures, and analytic techniques. All papers must have a sound scientific, theoretical, and philosophical base.
